Client: Miqat Travel for Religious Tourism
Background
Through multiple visits to the director of Miqat Travel for Religious Tourism, we discovered that there were numerous places the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) visited, and several important events from his life took place in these locations. However, no one was highlighting these historical sites or sharing their significance. This realization sparked the idea for the “Ather” program.
In 2020, we began shooting the first season of the program, which was aired during Ramadan of the same year. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the suspension of Hajj and Umrah services, production was paused. However, we successfully resumed and completed the second season in 2024, which aired in Ramadan 2025.
The Challenge
Filming in places with potential crowding or difficult conditions posed a major challenge. The key was to ensure that the footage and sound quality were of the highest standard despite these logistical difficulties. Additionally, we had to create a unique, respectful, and engaging narrative to reflect the historical significance of the places visited by the Prophet.
The Approach
We shot the program in key locations where significant events from the Prophet’s life occurred. The filming was carefully planned, taking into consideration the challenges of shooting in crowded or difficult areas. We made sure to use high-quality equipment and techniques to deliver exceptional footage and audio, preserving the sacredness and beauty of each location.
Alongside the program, we also filmed a promotional video for Hajj 2025, ensuring that it captured the essence of the religious journey and encouraged people to participate.
The Execution
The shooting process was meticulously organized, with our team overcoming various challenges, including crowded locations and limited access to certain areas. The technical team ensured the highest production values, capturing both the historical significance and the beauty of the sites. The result was a visually stunning and spiritually enriching program that brought the historical context to life for the viewers.
The Result
The “Ather” program became a valuable resource for viewers, offering them a unique look at the Prophet’s journey and the historical sites associated with his life. The high-quality production, despite the challenges, helped the program resonate with audiences and gain popularity. Additionally, the promotional video for Hajj 2025 successfully reached its target audience, promoting the religious journey effectively.
