Client: Business in Arabic Podcast (Hosted by Ahmed Rashad)
Background
In 2020, Ahmed Rashad launched the Business in Arabic Podcast, starting with a simple, humble setup using a mobile phone for their first episode. As the podcast grew in popularity and reach, they sought a higher-quality production to match the increasing demand for their content. They reached out to AWJ to help take their podcast to the next level.
The Challenge
The podcast’s growth was evident early on, but the initial setup lacked the necessary equipment and production value to meet their rising standards. The main challenge was ensuring the quality of the podcast could keep up with the growing volume of content being produced while also maintaining an engaging experience for their audience.
The Approach
We started by finding a suitable location for production with the necessary equipment and higher production capabilities. After a thorough search, we secured a space in a Coworking Space that was more aligned with the podcast’s evolving needs.
After about a year and a half of producing content in this location, Business in Arabic secured its first sponsor: Marsool, a significant step that provided financial backing to enhance the production further. With the sponsorship, we upgraded the production location, ensuring even better quality while maintaining the high standard of the podcast.
The most difficult aspect of this project was maintaining high quality while producing an enormous amount of content each month. The team at AWJ produced the main podcast episode, which typically lasted between one to three hours, as well as ten additional pieces of content, such as Reels and cut-down videos from the podcast. Additionally, we worked on advertisements and promotional material for the show.
The Execution
Thanks to a dedicated and efficient team, we were able to deliver consistent, high-quality content without compromising on production values. We successfully managed the high volume of content production, making sure each episode, video, and promotional piece met the standards that Business in Arabic had set.
The Result
With our continued support, the Business in Arabic Podcast grew to become the leading business podcast in the Arab world. The quality of the production played a significant role in attracting a larger audience and engaging listeners on a deeper level. The podcast’s success with Marsool as a sponsor enabled even more improvements to the production quality, making it a more polished, professional product with each episode.
